IBEDA Is a team of seasoned professionals with partners whose business is to
generate electricity through environmentally friendly means for businesses and
communities all around the world. We provide customized solutions to your power needs;
be it stand-alone or grid-tied. With emphasis on excellence IBEDA puts into consideration
all factors to determine which Power solution will work best for you on the long run.
IBEDA ENERGY is a renewable energy startup company established in 2017. We were motivated by the deplorable
state of grid-tied electricity in Nigeria and have a vision to be a viable alternative for fossil fuel
based electricity generation. Indeed we aim to be a solution to the country's power problems.
Armed with a team of engineers, product developers and environmental specialist, we create environmentally
friendly systems and devices to meet the power needs of individuals, companies and communities. We are also experienced in a variety
of wind and solar solutions as well as building of bespoke inverters for our clients.
Solutions That Work
David is a Project Manager/Entrepreneur expert with over six years of experience in successfully delivering tech and renewable energy projects in rural and urban communities in Nigeria. David is a renewable energy enthusiast focused on discovering innovative ideas and ways to provide and promote access to the clean and constant power supply in Sub-Saharan Africa. His involvement with several projects with Cranfield University UK, Innovate UK, REA Nigeria, and Ministry of Power Nigeria have shown these skills.
David's expertise in Project Management, Monitoring, Procurement, Logistics negotiation, Corporate Communication, and Welfare support has contributed to helping several teams complete several projects successfully. David is also passionate about Logistics and how renewable energy can be used to reduce emissions. David was a volunteer for the United Nations in Nigeria for several years. He graduated from the University of Lagos with a BSc (Hons) in Sociology and hold's a Masters in Media and Creative Enterprise from Birmingham City University, United Kingdom.Dr Samesa Igirigi, a graduate of Abertay University, Dundee, United Kingdom, has over eight years of experience in energy and environment-based research and extensive knowledge in global energy policy and renewable energy investment. Dr Samesa has extensive knowledge and expertise in the environmental assessment of energy products: conducting comprehensive environmental impact assessment, screening process, baseline study, impact prediction, categorization, monitoring, and mitigation.
He holds a PhD and MSc in Renewable Energy Investment from Abertay University Dundee, United Kingdom, and Nigeria. He also has extensive knowledge of the local environmental laws, which is an advantage in fast-track project implementation. In addition, his expertise in engineering designs relating to renewable energy is a crucial asset in developing renewable energy products.Felix is a senior product developer at IBEDA. He brings unique fresh and innovative ideas/solutions to renewable and sustainable electricity generation, especially in rural and low income settings. Having supervised the development of our flagship products; Powerboxx and Renewable Energy Charging Station from concept to field testing, he has a wealth of experience in delivering green energy to homes and businesses in diverse sub-urban settings.
Felix’s educational qualification includes a degree in Health Education and he helps the company create greater awareness on the dangers and ecological impact of non renewable and environmentally harmful forms of power generationAbout US
